New In-house engineering
New Roof & Cladding secures main boat shed future.
As part of our programme of continued investment a new roof and cladding has been added to our main boat shed.
Built in 1935 the current shed has stood for some 87 years. It’s longevity is a testament to the quality of workmanship and materials that were used when it was built. Whilst the structure of the shed itself is sound, it recently become clear that work was needed on the roof and cladding, so the decision was made to make a long term investment and replace the whole exterior. Our hard-standing boat storage has access to both electricity and water points, and our soft mud berths offer exceptional value for money.
With 87 years on the water, we’ve learned to change with the times, embracing the latest technology and techniques for boat repairs, but keeping some things the same – like pride in our work and a commitment to our customers.
